Titanium reactors are used in the hydrometallurgical extraction of metals from ores.   This is an environmentally safe process and an excellent alternative to smelting processes.

Titanium has been selected for this application because it offers an extended lifespan, increased energy efficiency, and greater product purity.  These factors promote the usage of titanium electrodes in electro-winning and electro-refining of metals like copper, gold, manganese and manganese dioxide.
